The years are adding up, my love. The days run together like my sentences; no breath or pause between the todays, tomorrows and yesterdays.
We’ve watched each other grow up. How cool is that? What would 18 year old Daniel have said if he knew what time would reveal?
We’ve learned on each other. Your graces to me have been many. In that way, you have modeled Jesus. I’ve made you a better man. I say that without pride that’s harmful. It’s merely fact.
I can confidently say, time has tested us and it turns out we’re true. The phrase “It’s always been you” rings rightly, as it always has… like a circle of solid gold.
The older we get, the less chatter matters. We speak less because our actions say what words can’t.
I love you.
I love you, I love you, I love you.
